Notice to all our Patients and Referral Sources
To keep our employees and patients safe we have adopted the following policies and procedures. They closely align with New England Orthopedics and Baystate Medical Centers’ recent plans. We are asking patients to reschedule to after May 18th if you have any of the following:
– Fever
– Cough
– Runny nose
– Shortness of breath
– Flu-like symptoms
We will not be scheduling any new non-essential appointments, including home visits, until after May 18th. Sanitization efforts have been enhanced. Our exam rooms will be cleaned between patients and our waiting area will be sanitized nightly. Lastly, we will be asking patients to use hand sanitizer prior to filling out paperwork and being seen.
For the safety of our patients, employees and the community, beginning March 19th, 2020 and continuing in effect at least until May 18th, 2020 our office hours for 300 Birnie Ave and The Prosthetic Center at 3500 have been reduced. Our new temporary hours are 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, closed daily for lunch from 12:00 to 12:30. In addition, our Pittsfield and Northampton offices will be only taking scheduled appointments. Any Northampton or Pittsfield patient that has an urgent matter or in need of a critical care device outside of these business hours is asked to call 1-888-432-5488 and arrangements will be made for you to be seen. As always we are available 24/7 for emergencies. We apologize for the inconvenience this may create and hope that in the near future we will continue with normal daily activities.
O & P Labs recognizes the severity of recent events and hope that these changes will have a positive impact on our employees, our patients and the community. We greatly appreciate your understanding and look forward to resuming normal operations soon.
